---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The historic conception of the Bulactiar Clan Association is a product of a concerted desire to continuethe pursuit of strengthening family ties which had been jumpstarted by itsprecursor, the BBD (Baslot Bulactiar Dayoc) Clan.
History is told that after the burial of the late Nanay Ninang, the wife of the late Tatay Servando Baslot Bulactiar, the idea has broached to revive the founding of a clan association. Hence, this trying time in the life of the bereaved family stems anew the renewed vigor of the siblings to re-establish an association, separate and distinct from the BBD, which was already inactive and outmoded several years ago.
As a result, the meeting on the night of November 2009 gave birth to the Bulactiar Clan Association. Its first meeting was held in the residence of Nanay Ninang, graced by several Bulactiar children in barangay Cansayong. Significant to this meeting were the election of its pioneering officers and the setting-up of its monthlymeeting. The first ever roster of officers elected were; JENELITO SENOC BESAS,SR. (President), MIGUEL BASLOT BULACTIAR (Vice-President), ANNA MARIE T. DIGAL(Secretary), MELCHORA MOSQUITO SUMBRADO (Surrogate Secretary), HAYDEE BULACTIARSENOC (Treasurer), TEODORO TORION BULACTIAR (Auditor), JIMMY BULACTIAR COMAHIG(PIO), MARIO BERNALDEZ (PIO), ANTONIO BULACTIAR TAGARO(PIO), VISITACIONBULACTIAR BULAY (Collector), ROSALITA BESAS COMAHIG (Collector), and CHRISTOPHER DELA PEÑA BULACTIAR (Collector).
